Although I've always looked forward to summer break, I know that it can be a busy, stressful time as everyone gets used to a new schedule. We love each other, but being around each other nonstop can be quite an adjustment. 🙂
My last baby is graduating HS and has a full-time summer job; so I will really miss the "Mom, I'm bored". "Mom, I'm hungry." "Mom, I want to go___" Or maybe I'll miss this.. "You need to clean your room." "You need to go play outside." "You need to go to bed." To which they may answer "Whatever!!"🙁
So, I'm inviting you to a summer break prep Bible study. It will last 8 days, starting tomorrow (cramming for the exam mode...) We will study the same verse for 8 days to train our minds to think rightly. And, hopefully pour what we learn into the minds of our children. It's not a formal study, so there will be no sign-up, but I'd love to know if you're with me!
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.
