Solomon’s list of high officials includes priests, secretaries, commanders, even the king’s friend is listed. 
There were 12 officers who had to provide the King’s provisions—a LOT!!!—each one month of the year. There was peace and safety in both Judah and Israel. Solomon’s fame grew in the whole region because of God’s great gift of wisdom.

“The Wisdom of Solomon” is still a saying today. Here we are seeing just how big of an impact it made!! The same God who gifted Solomon with wisdom beyond measure could give us the same. Don’t be afraid to ask. However, don’t lose sight of the other important people in this story. They may not have been famous, but they helped Solomon’s massive household run like clockwork. From the officers all the way to the footmen, they let “nothing be lacking...each according to his duty”. The people brought tribute and served Solomon all the days of his life. So whether you see yourself as Solomon or as any worker in his kingdom, your job is important.
