Psalm 117

Psalm 101-150 is done using the SOAK method--Scripture Observation Application Kneel in prayer

S--Psalm 117

O--All nations have been invited to the throne of God to worship Him.  To highly praise Him, to celebrate Him, to applaud Him.  What would drive the nations to do such a thing?  The strong and mighty love that God extends to us is unwavering and stubborn and long suffering.  We can rely on His love, kindness, and faithfulness because it endures forever.  Praise Him!

A--This chapter changes me in its two short verses because in them I see a corporate call to worship.  All Nations, All People--called to bow before God because He is worth all the applause we can possibly bring. Can you imagine what that might look like???  The words describing God's  love and devotion to those who would honor Him with praise has a dual meaning--a sense of being there at both the beginning and end of time, and also enduring throughout.  So from beginning to end, and every single day in between,  I choose to lift Him up!

K--I pray that all the nations would find healing at the throne of our great God who is mighty to save.  Praise Him!
